Bandoneonist Jens Lundberg, born in Stockholm, Sweden, studied with the Argentinian bandoneon virtuoso Juan José Mosalini at Conservatoire Edgar Varèse in Paris, from where he received his diploma. He has also taken lessons in
Buenos Aires with masters such as Nestor Marconi and Walter Rios and has participated in orquesta tipica masterclasses for Per-Arne Glorvigen.

Lundberg has performed both as a soloist and with various ensembles around Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and Argentina. His repertoire includes both traditional tango and ‘tango nuevo’, aswell as music from the baroque and classical era, and he is constantly acquiring new compositions within the contemporary repertoire. In 2012 he received the Albin Hagström Award.

Lundberg has collaborated with among others the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra / the Norrbotten Chamber Orchestra / the Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra / Malmö Opera / the Montevideo Tango Quartet / the brass quintet Linnékvintetten / the wind quintet Crusellkvintetten / and Trio Tangophoria with trombonist Christian Lindberg & pianist Roland Pöntinen, wich recently released the record "Tangophoria" on BIS Records.

He also frequently gives concerts with his own different ensemble groups:
Trio BandArco with Daniel Frankel - violin and Emma Nyberg - contrabass / Stockholm Tango Duo with singer Marie Öhrn /  duo dosFueyes with Daniel Andersson - accordion / and Trio Tremendissimo with Andersson and violinist Emilio Estrada.
